This Christmas Album, “Its a Jim Stroud Christmas” is a collection of Christmas songs performed by Jim Stroud as only he can sing them. This video is a retro TV commercial for this album that is not available in any store. Sing a long with Jim as he sings the classics loud, off key and at times, even forgets the words to popular Christmas songs. Yes folks, this musical tribute is fun for the whole family!
The Future of Work is being discussed in this episode of “The Jim Stroud Show,” which has been dedicated to my Randstad Hellas human resources pals. (Randstad rocks!!!!) In this video I explore 3 questions:
(1) How will tech influence the way we work?
(2) What are the skills that will define the employee in 2030?
(3) What are the employee benefits of the future?
Tune in for interesting, thought-provoking and somewhat whimsical comments by Jim Stroud. Please, please, pretty please leave a comment. I want to hear from you.
If you want to experience success in recruiting passive candidates, I HIGHLY suggest that you adopt the habits discussed in this episode of “The Jim Stroud Show.”
Why this special episode? When Karen Azulai mentioned a sourcing workshop she was giving in Israel, he was excited for her but could not participate. (Insert sad face here.) So, in support of her effort, he produced this video that will also be shared with her workshop.

While watching “Judge Judy,” Jim Stroud gets the idea of how to source passive candidates from courtrooms around the world. In a nutshell, lawyers often depend on expert witnesses to validate and prove their arguments. In this episode of “The Jim Stroud Show,” Jim goes into detail on how to find such experts for the jobs recruiters are trying to fill now. | Links related to this episode can be found here.
Robots taking over jobs is a common theme these days yet, a contrarian view is explored in this episode of “The Jim Stroud Show.” Imagine you are a software developer who is constantly hounded by recruiters; almost to the point of distraction. So, what do you do? You do what Will Sims has done and build a robot to handle all calls from recruiters. Check out this very clever experiment! \
