This is Unamerican Thinking

NOTE: At some point, before bed, I read through 50+ news sources and share my findings here. If you like it, share it. If you don’t, share it. Follow my blog now to support my work or to find new reasons to complain about it. My opinions are my own. All tips are welcome as well as comments on my video series - The Jim Stroud Show.

This is Unamerican Thinking

Most of the military is white.

Most of the military voted for President Trump.

Ergo, the military will likely harm a President Biden.

A litmus test on allegiance to an administration, not our country nor our constitution, is likely coming soon. As a result, the votes of the American soldier won’t be considered sacred (and probably won’t be private.)

Racism, racism, I see racism everywhere

Martin Luther King, Jr. believed in a colorblind society. All too often, it is not realized due to the woke mindset of people who see racism everywhere. It somewhat reminds me of that kid from the movie – The 6th Sense.

Critical race theory believes racism is present in every aspect of life, every relationship, and every interaction and therefore has its advocates look for it everywhere(and I do mean everywhere). But, don’t get me started, I already wrote an ebook on that.

I saw recently this online course called “Whiteness and Racial Violence in America.” I have not taken the course but I did notice this in the description this…

“We will take up an anthropological focus which will offer insight into how to read the cultural messages we are surrounded by through a critical lens..”

I suspect it will follow the dictates of Critical Race Theory and point out racism, both real and imagined, as much as possible, to validate the victimhood of minorities in the USA. (For the record, I disagree.) I doubt it will take into account the double standard practiced by the media. When it comes to racial division in the USA, I lay a lot of the blame on them.

And when it comes to disunity and the cold civil war in America, the media’s double standard is blatant and they should be held accountable for the part they played in it. Case in point, check out this video that was deleted from YouTube. How much of the general population in the USA have seen those clips?

Hmm.. Maybe that’s why the public has lost trust in the media. It shows in the ratings. Despite that, there are some who want even voices in ratings decline to be silenced. any voice that disagrees with the left to be silenced. If you listen closely, such sentiment is being echoed more and more each day.

And another recent example of why the public mistrusts (or should mistrust) the (agenda driven) media.

But I thought walls did not work?

Okay, hypocrisy abounds in Washington, D.C. so I’m not sure why this surprises me.

The bill – H.R.339 – seeks to “direct the Architect of the Capitol to design and install an appropriate fence around the perimeter of the United States Capitol, including the East Front and the West Front.”

It was introduced by the New York Congressman on January 15th, 2021, and referred to the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure on the same day. Torres introducer another bill – H.R. 338 which seeks “to clarify the counting of electoral votes in Congress to be a National Special Security Event” – also on the 15th.

While the specifics of the fence remain unclear, the bill follows years of Democrats insisting “walls don’t work” regarding President Trump’s efforts to erect a similar structure on the Southern border.

I found that here.

There is a difference between legal and illegal immigration

When I typically hear people discuss immigration issues, they tend not to distinguish between walking through the front door verses jumping a fence. Hispanic Americans understand the difference. My friends on the left tend not to.

I welcome people from all countries to visit the USA and for some to become citizens, as long as they follow our rules and processes. Below is a tweet demonstrating the wrong way to enter a country. Quote possibly encouraged to do so, for some reason.

Its cheaper than a robot

If you are looking for work and you have no real skills but, need an income. This may be a suitable alternative for you in the near future as local governments, without the funding for robocops, employ low-wage workers to help enforce their totalitarianism.

Bill Maher as the voice of reason?

I’m not a big fan of Bill Maher but there are fleeting moments when he sounds reasonable and persuasive. This is one such moment.

“Let’s not confuse 5,000 people with 74 million,” Maher said to his audience. “Yes, even supporting the insurrection in spirit is, well, deplorable. But there’s a difference between holding illiberal beliefs and acting violently on them. At least that’s what they always told me about Islamic terrorism.”

I like what he said because it had the hint of a unifying message. I am not hearing a lot of that from the left these days. I tend to hear things like “Harvard Students Request to Revoke Graduate Diplomas from Prominent Trump Supporters” or how actresses will encourage deplatforming of news networks that hire Trump staff or calling for the financial deplatforming of conservatives or (I kid you not) discussion on how to reprogram the thoughts of people who disagree with them. Check out this tweet and look up who said it.

Ugh.
