Same Border Crisis. Different Day.
The Democratic mayor of a southern border town says Democratic President Joe Biden is in denial over the magnitude of the immigration problem, amounting to a “slap in the face” to the people he serves. “You have a breach on national security levels that have never before been seen in modern history and you’re not even batting an eye about it, you’re not even calling it a ‘crisis,’ you’re calling it a quote unquote challenge,” Mayor Bruno Lozano of Del Rio, Texas, told the New York Post on Sunday. (Even Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) had to admit things are not working out; to put it mildly.)
If you thought things were bad at the border, think again. Its much worse.
With so much going on today, President Biden decides to call it a day at 1:13 pm.
President Joe Biden called a lid at 1:13 pm eastern on Monday afternoon as the crisis at the border reaches catastrophic levels.
“A photo/ travel lid was called at 1:13pm,” the White House pool report states.
In other words, Biden won’t be seen for the rest of the day. The lid comes after White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki failed to answer a number of questions about the border during a briefing Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, as the Biden administration tries to figure out how to process an overwhelming number of migrants at the Southern border, a possible solution is debated… Fly them to the northern US Border and process them there.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Sunday that he has no immediate plans to fly migrants to the northern U.S. border for processing to grapple with the surge from Mexico and Central America, but that “all options are on the table.”
“We don’t have those plans in place now, but what we are doing is we are putting all options on the table as it is our responsibility to do, and we are implementing those options that will both service our legal obligations and our humanitarian values and principles,” Mr. Mayorkas said on CNN’s “State of the Union.
Apparently, one of the options on the table is to house the illegal immigrants in hotel rooms while our National Guard troops sleep in parking garages. Come on, man! Where is the love for our military?
And another option is to just release them into the country without notifying the immigration courts or issuing a Notice to Appear. Laws no longer matter at this point anyways so, why bother at all? #sarcasm
The whole border debacle makes me question not only the Biden leadership but the chosen team members of the administration. So many errors. Its making me dizzy. Take the incomplete border wall. Do you know that pausing construction on the border wall is costing taxpayers $6,000,000.00 per day?!! (But hey, its only money. We can always print more. What’s the worse that could happen?)
Some mistakes may be human error but others are flagrantly illegal. Who is going to hold the Biden Administration accountable? Check out this quote from The National Pulse:
Under federal law, border patrol can detain children for a maximum of 72 hours, but as of March 20th, “3,314 unaccompanied children had been in custody longer, with 2,226 for more than five days and 823 for more than 10 days,” the outlet continues.
President Biden, therefore, is illegally holding these children, and staunch critics of Donald Trump’s immigration policy such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have failed to criticize the move.
Many suspect that “Hidin’ Biden” is a red flag that can’t be ignored. One White House physician has broken his silence about it.
And a former Democrat adviser Dr. Naomi Wolf expressed alarm regarding President Joe Biden’s current state of health and its implications for U.S. national security.
Addressing Biden’s health, Wolf stated that “as Americans, we would be remiss not to notice that this is a man who is struggling physically, and our national security kind of depends on our being grown-ups.” She said, “when a very elderly president is struggling physically, it’s an important national security concern” that all should be able to discuss “without partisanship.”
Still the mainstream media defends President Biden as best they can. In their latest attempt, they cautioned against joking about Biden’s missteps. Why? It could inspire assassins. No joke. Sigh.
Maybe VP Harris will swoop in to save the day? Maybe one day, but not this day.
