Its not a good time to be Anthony Fauci. The Federalist reported why.
A treasure trove of emails from National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s were made public this week by BuzzFeed News after a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) opened the inbox of the nation’s face of the pandemic and ensuing institutional decay.
More than 3,200 pages dated from January to June 2020 reveal a portrait of a government bureaucrat lifted up as a god-like figure in the legacy media who did what most government bureaucrats do: operate in their own self-interest no matter the stakes.
On Tuesday, the Washington Post published its findings from a smaller series of emails obtained through a separate FOIA request. It painted the most predictable narrative one could expect from the pinnacle paper of Trump resistance: the heroic image of an 80-year-old physician steering the nation through a once-in-a-generation pathogen in the apparent absence of presidential leadership. The Post, however, kept its retrieved emails concealed.
BuzzFeed, on the other hand, published all 3,324 documents. Those depict an arrogant, dismissive physician who from the very start began to cover for his potential role in the lab leak theory, going as far as to brand himself the most credible voice in the world on COVID to do so.
For more context on how utterly outrageous this all is, PLEASE check out this video by Tucker Carlson. Not only does he take Fauci to task, he pulls no punches on the mainstream media’s complicity.
Townhall read through thousands of pages of emails Dr. Fauci sent and received about the Wuhan coronavirus that Buzzfeed and the Washington Post obtained via FOIA requests. What caught my eye the most about their observations was this, in March 2020, Fauci thought COVID would stop on its own without a vaccine. To quote Fauci’s email…
“Social distancing is not really geared to wait for a vaccine… Close proximity of people will keep the R0 higher than 1 and even as high as 2 to 3. If we can get the R0 to less than 1, the epidemic will gradually decline and stop on its own without a vaccine.”
As you may imagine, there has been many comments made about the #FauciEmails from the right. Here are just a few.
Marjorie Taylor Greene’s tweet being among the most popular ones.
Judicial Watch had an interesting take on the emails.
So many emails, so many revelations.
And this should interest everyone who hates (and loves) wearing masks. (Note the date.)
Some Republicans are demanding answers.
Whereas some are feeling vindicated.
If we knew the truth about the Covid-19 origins, it stands to reason that we would best know how to fight it and prevent it. However, as of now, we still do not know for sure. And that is a crime against humanity. And likely, a strategy to protect China from paying trillions in damages and embarrassment. But, I digress. I can’t help but wonder. How is the left-wing media reporting on the news of how Fauci lied and millions died? By praising him as a tireless hero and defender of truth. Here is CNN’s take on the Fauci emails.
In an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in June, Fauci called the work “exhausting.”
“I’m chronically fatigued, I don’t get a lot of sleep,” he said. “I’m constantly briefing, talking, doing things, hopefully getting the right cause out.”
And if the exhaustion ever turned to frustration, Fauci certainly never let it show. His exchanges — however short — always seemed pleasant. “Let us discuss,” he’d signal to his team when a new request came in. “Thank you for your note,” was often his response to the scores of thankful notes streaming in.
This gives you some insight into how Fauci’s interview with MSNBC went.
USA Today tried to downplay the authenticity of the emails.
The White House says (and I’m paraphrasing), “Why bring up old news? He’s been an asset as far as we know.”
If you ask Fauci about his emails then he makes jokes and deflects. Ultimately, saying nothing.
Bottomline: Fauci knew about the lab leak possibility and covered it up from Day 1.
SPECULATION: Presumably, Fauci did this to promote his professional reputation as THE subject matter expert, avoid legal troubles and (quite possibly) for financial benefit.
PREDICTION: Too much is coming out at once and no sign of the info slowing down, despite efforts in the media to downplay it. Before June 2021 is over, Fauci will be fired (so to speak) by disappearing from the media and “resigning” from public office. He will say that he’s tired of all the politics and the media will be sympathetic and let him be remembered as a hero as best they can. His day before Congress will come and depending on how that works out, he will either be punished or become a Heath contributor on MSNBC because he cannot give up the limelight. I am praying for justice.
