Could it be that Big Pharma is motivated by profit and not the well-being of its customers? Could said motivation be the reason behind certain mandates? “Following the science” is good but, don’t overlook the money. The money matters too. And should you get push back for simply questioning the incentives driving the pharmaceutical industry, consider this quote from C.S. Lewis.
Once a person attaches their identity to a belief, any evidence contradictory to that belief is subconsciously considered a personal attack. The evidence will be ignored and a justification will be imagined to defend the ego from the personal attack.
